72-Year-Old man beats the hell out of a burglar
72-Year-old Frank Corti was an ex-boxer living his life peacefully when his drunk neighbour, Gregory McCalium, 23 y/o burst into his house carrying a knife.
As the police says, Mr. McCalium had partied all night before attempting to rob his neighbours. Confident from the booze and the fact that he was carrying the knife, he stormed in the house of Frank and Margaret Corti with the intention of getting some quick cash.
When the intruder tried to take a swoosh at Mr. Corti, he dodged the attack and punched McCalium in the face twice! This left him with a swollen eye and popped lip. Afterwards, Mr. Corti managed to subdue the considerably younger male until the police arrived to pick him up.
In the eyes of local police, Mr. Corty acted very bravely and accordingly, later the judge stating that the suspect “got what he deserved” when the pensioner, a former boxer, left him bruised and bleeding.
McCalium was jailed right after the incident, and will spend 4 and a half years in prison for aggravated burglary.
